The workshop
A working shop that treats every bend as a fit.
Kamdhenu Pipe Bending has spent years quietly serving Ahmedabad's fabricators, exhaust builders, HVAC installers, furniture makers and architectural metal shops. We are not a distributor and we are not a marketplace. We are the workshop where the pipe is actually formed.
Every job starts with the drawing or the sample in hand. We check radius, wall thickness and material grade before a die is loaded. Small errors on paper become expensive in steel, so we prefer to catch them at the bench.
Owner led, honest quotations, tight tolerances. If a bend cannot be done cleanly with the material you have in mind, we say so up front and suggest a workable alternative.

The workhorse of the shop. Fast, repeatable bends on mild steel and GI pipe using hydraulic ram and matched dies. Ideal for exhausts, structural frames, gate work and any run where consistent radius matters more than a perfectly wrinkle free interior.

02Mandrel bending

Mandrel bending
For stainless and thin wall tube where the inside surface has to stay clean. An internal mandrel supports the pipe wall through the bend, so there is no wrinkling, no flattening and no reduction in bore. This is the finish you want for handrails, food and pharma tubing and premium exhaust work.

Mild steel and galvanised iron for structural and general fabrication. Stainless steel 304 and 202 for handrails, kitchens and outdoor architectural work. Aluminium for lightweight assemblies and HVAC. Bring the pipe you already have or ask us to source a matching grade.

From half inch tube through to six inch pipe, across common wall thicknesses. If your job sits outside that range, send the specification anyway. In most cases we can route it to a partner shop and manage the work end to end.

How the job runs
Five steps, no surprises at pickup.

Drawing or sample
Send a sketch on WhatsApp, an emailed drawing or drop off a physical sample. We confirm radius, angle, wall thickness and material.
- 02
Tooling and setup
The right die and mandrel are loaded and trialled. For repeat work we keep tooling ready to reduce setup time on the next batch.
- 03
Bend and form
The pipe is formed on the hydraulic press or mandrel bender depending on the job. Operator checks each bend against the reference.
- 04
Quality check
Visual inspection for wrinkling, ovality and finish. Sample piece measured for angle and centre to centre where drawings call for it.
- 05
Dispatch
Bundled, tagged and ready for pickup at the workshop or delivery within Ahmedabad. Bulk orders can be dispatched by local transport.
